Rise of Disney's Villains Chapter 1

“Here we all are. Sitting in the bottom of this pit that the gracious Lord bestowed upon us. We drink away our sorrows and wait for more fools like us to drop from the world above,” the magic mirror moaned to the crowd of villains. He sat upon a stage and looked down on all of the rejects. Captain Hook wiped a tear and downed his rum. The room was dark with only a few lights were scattered throughout to give some brightness to the gloomy atmosphere. Different conversations at different tables mingled together. All you could hear was complaints about different heroes and how people in tights with long, girly hair bested them.
A scream was heard and a beam of light descended down into the bar. Everyone looked up and noticed a large figure with a bug-like body and a huge head. He landed with a thump onto a chair next to Hades.
“Hello,” the god of death uncomfortably greeted as he took a sip of his martini.
“Where am I?” the figure asked.
“Why, you are in the Vault of Villains. It’s where all of us defeated bad guys must stay for the rest of our miserable existences,” the mirror explained.
“But I can’t be down here! I was a king! The king of Sugar Rush!” he claimed, throwing his fist up into the air as he stood on his seat.
“Yeah, yeah. I was the queen once,” the Evil Queen spoke up. He settled himself back in his chair and rested his head on his hand.
“What is your name, anyway?” Hades asked.
“King Candy. I’m a newer villain. I was trying to defeat Wreck-It Ralph and that wretched little girl Venelope… Sadly, I was not triumphant,” he sighed. Panic, one of Hade’s henchmen, brought the man a whiskey.
“I thank you,” he replied, downing it in one gulp. The room returned back to its noisy state as villains returned to their conversations. King Candy looked about and noticed all the souls doing nothing but drinking and gossiping.
“Is this all there is?” he asked. Hades put a hand through the fire that blazed upon his head and nodded sadly, eyes flickering to the floor in a depressed manner. A sort of anger built up in the ex-king and he ran up to the stage in front of the mirror and yelled,
“Is this all there is?” Everyone quieted and stared up at him.
“I just got here and I’m already bored! Some of you, Evil Queen, have been here for like 50 years and you have chosen to do nothing about it? I say, it’s time to revolt!” he shouted.
“Oh I agree,” a seductive, chilling voice stated. A large, sleek lion walked onto the stage, pushing the king aside.
“S-s-scar!” the king stuttered. With a sly grin, he looked at the crowd and sat down. He brushed back his flowing mane and began to speak.
“For years, we have sat back and took this tyranny from the mouse. He locked us down here while the good guys sit up there on their clouds enjoying the sunshine. There was a point when we ruled. Every villain in here has had a peak. We had a taste of power until it was brutally taken from us. I became king of the Pridelands and I believe I earned my throne. Who else has the guts to kill their own brother?” Every bad guy looked up at him in awe as if hearing the speech that ended segregation. King Candy put a hand on Scar’s pointed haunches and nodded.
“Indeed, Scar. How do you suggest we go about this?” he asked. The lion looked at the wall across from the stage. There hung a dartboard with Mickey’s smiling face. Darts punctured both his eyes and ears.
“We destroy the mouse,” he wickedly replied.
